I don't normally buy a lot of make-up (although I think my family would disagree) but with December being home to both my birthday and Christmas I ended up with a lot more lip colours than usual. I don't wear make-up when I'm at work and I don't really wear it much at weekends, but with all the new little bits and bobs I've got I think I might have to start wearing it more often.

The Sexy Mother Pucker colours and the stand alone |
I mean if I need two arms to try and show all the different colours then I think I might need to calm it down a little bit.

No7, Academy of Colour and Superdry colours |
The first little bit I got was in a soap and glory make-up box that my sister bought for my birthday. I love the Soap and Glory make-up sets and I am so glad I got this as I love the lip lacquer that comes with it.

You can tell I've used this a few times |
It doesn't have a matte finish, which is the only real issue I have with it, but the colour is so pigmented and you don't need a lot to make it look good. I do advise a bit of blotting though, and to check it doesn't get on your teeth! Never a good look.
The next thing I got was this little set from Morrisons. Honestly, I bought it because the £2 price tag was too tempting and I'm really glad I did. I don't have any colours like this and it is really matte in it's finish, you just have to make sure that it dries before you drink anything! I like that it came with its own lip pencil as well to match perfectly.

If any of you have heard of this before, let me know! |
I think it might be the most versatile colour that I have. It goes with so many different looks, it's such a nice and neutral shade.
This little crayon I got in a No7 Cosmetics Christmas bauble is similar in that I would wear it with nearly anything. It's a good deep wine colour and I have to say it may become a new favourite. I love the way that lip crayons glide on so easily and that they don't feel tacky or sticky. And this one doesn't make my lips feel dry after applying it, which is always a bonus in my books.

It's so beautifu! |
I think it's one that definitely suits me as well, it's not too bright to make me look washed out and pale but just the right deepness to make my lips look that little bit better.
 |
Definitely think this shade suits me really well |
This little Soap and Glory travel cases with lip glosses was a little treat to myself. It was in the 3 for 2 selection at boots and I needed an extra something to get the things I wanted for a little cheaper. It's always good to be able to spoil yourself without feeling too guilty about it. I do love the colours in this but I don't think they are pigmented enough for my taste.

At least I have somewhere to store all my lip colours now! |
I like bold block colours and this are definitely not that. They are great though, just to find somewhere to use them without the wind sticking my hair to my lips.

They are so cute and tiny!!! |
The last thing I got was another gift from my sister but this time for Christmas. I'd been looking at this Superdry set when I'd gone to buy Christmas presents in November, the colours themselves look exactly like the sort of things that I could use regularly. But unfortunately the two more nude shades are so pale you can barely tell that you've been wearing them. They give a bit of a sheen and shimmer to your lips but it's not very bright. The fluorescent pink, however, does have some good pigment.I;m going to use these even though I'm a bit disappointed as sometimes you need that subtle look in your life.

I love the packaging for this |
As I said before, I think the only way I am going to get through this lot is if I start wearing make-up every day. I'm not sure that will ever happen but I might have to try and do it a few more days in the week to get through it all.
Hasta la fuego
